Our Norway-based client faced just these challenges with time lost in coordination, scattered authority documents blocking approval requirements and no live view for control and field teams on race day. The most glaring gap was that all this could put rider safety at risk.

LocusBase is a race operations platform built with safety at its core, covering the full lifecycle of a road cycling event. The foundation is a map-driven planning environment where the entire race takes shape, from the first draft of the route through regulatory readiness, live operations on race day and the post-race archive that stands up when authorities or insurers come asking.

Every role on the event, be it race director, club administrator, chief marshal, field marshal or sign crew, works from the same platform with one version of the truth.

  1. LocusBase made its debut at the Norwegian Youth Road Cycling Championships, 'Ungdoms-NM' in Skien in August 2026 proving the platforms success. The challenge LocusBase addresses is not unique to cycling. Any sport that moves across public infrastructure with field teams to coordinate, authorities to satisfy and a record to maintain faces similar fragmentation. LocusBase brings it all into one place for cleaner planning, confident execution and safety that doesn't depend on whoever happens to be standing in the right place.   1. LocusBase already had a system for sign tracking, but we wanted to build something bigger, a complete safety platform for cycling races, bringing sign tracking, marshal logging and vehicle tracking together in one GPS-verified solution.

    In TIQRI we found a partner who understood both the system and the sport from our very first meeting. Kim and Alexander met us with an enthusiasm we noticed immediately, and we have worked with skilled professionals every step of the way since. They have delivered stable code, strong security and a well-considered server architecture, along with a genuine understanding of what we set out to build.
